People (ok, mutants) walk in and out of probably top secret military installations with disconcerting nonchalance. and soon after the hyperbolic tower collapses, the girl appears suspiciously, but oh so conveniently plotwise, in the middle of the rubble.

There are a lot of minor things like that. My eyes see everything but I just can't seem to remember.

but it was a damn good movie. those who don't like that kind of thing definitely won't like it. but it was damn good. albeit short. You could say it felt like the plot was strained so as to fit, yes.


another thing, unrelated.

if you are waiting for a call that refuses to come, going out to watch a movie will ensure that you miss that call. but at least, you'll get the message. Which was the whole point of the exercise really.

This movie makes you wonder, who the hell would be suicidal crazy enough to want to live in New York City?

However, there were lots of funny bits in this film. I laughed a lot while watching it. So maybe I'm crazy enough.

"Don't make me take off my sunglasses!" huuu.......huhuhu...huhu.....hu......!

There was a bit about drug induced sleep that was somewhat.. alluring though. Sleep on demand. That is awesome.

well, that all I think. Short, wasn't it? ah well.

Short movie review.

It's a.. comedy. romantic comedy apparently. I was expecting a nice witty British comedy. Instead.. it was more of an American film with a British comedy actor in it. It's not bad. But it kinda feels like the whole story could have gone on for several more hours with much more bang. A bit undershot. hmm. yes.

and no, it's a prop. not a trap.

I wanted to watch this movie because Simon Pegg is in it. Ever since I saw Hot Fuzz I've been following his work with some interest. Incidentally, my ex thinks he looks like a skeleton...

and yeah if you're reading this, I don't give a damn.
