not exactly round 2 because I haven't quite gotten around to phoning the Orange customer service about the business line possibility. It's winter and it's cold and I'd rather sleep. Also, I'm a bit nocturnal. Their service may be 24/7 but if I phone in at 3 am in the morning, I may stumble on someone with a charming personality (as those who live by night are oft blessed with) at the end of the line.

anyway, a couple of days ago, I received the following letter... From Orange....
The first thought is of course, "what?".
then "eh?"
then "wtf??"
the letter is dated may 5 but the stamp on the envelope says it was mailed on the 20th of may... When I saw the Orange logo in the heading I immediately thought it was that famous warning they were going to issue to heavy users. Or even something related to Vishal in round 1. But on reading though... turns out they are offering me a job.
An attempt at bribery? Foul play?
nope. Simply the terrible laws of causality... The University of Mauritius is in the habit of looking out for it's graduates. Giving out their contact details to companies that might be hiring. And turns out the academic year has just ended...
MT employees get unlimited free internet access apparently... Oh well...

Incidentally, I also got a letter from the taxman. Normally death and taxes are 2 things I strenuously avoid in life. but this time, they were asking me to send my CV by the 30th of May... and the letter itself was mailed on the 30th of May...
